KMB Projects

Here are just a few of the many ways you can get involved:

Community Clean-Ups

KMB organizes cleanup events where Manhasset residents meet and work with their neighbors in collecting litter from our parks, streets and beaches -- working together to keep our town clean, green and beautiful.

Adopt-A-Spot

Make a major difference in our community -- you or your group/organization can "adopt" a section of Manhasset and work with KMB to beautify it and keep it litter-free. Your "spot" can be a street, a creek, a neighborhood, a park, etc. Volunteers committ to personally maintaining and beautifying their adopted spot at least 4 times a year for 1 year.

Plant a Tree

You can not only get involved in identifying areas in Manhasset which would benefit from the planting of a tree, but coordinate with local officials, businesses and residents to plant more trees in our beautiful community.

KMB Reach-Out

KMB works with Manhasset schools to educate students about KMB and raise awareness about litter. This program will focus on asking students to make a commitment to help control litter and participate in our clean-up and plant-a-tree events. You can be a part of this effort.

Remember, KMB needs volunteers.
